Is it possible to track my child's iphone without them knowing?

I’m really concerned about who my daughter talks to online these days and want to keep her safe. I’ve heard about Screen Time but she’d notice that-it shows a big alert on her phone when it’s limited. Are there any completely hidden ways to check her messages or location without her seeing anything on her phone?

iOS sandboxing means truly stealth monitoring doesn’t really exist outside of Apple’s built-in tools, and even Find My leaves a small footprint in Settings. Most “completely hidden” apps are just marketing hype, require their iCloud login plus a one-time 2FA tap, or straight-up don’t work on modern iOS. Set up Family Sharing for location and message filtering, then just tell her you’re doing it—it saves you from chasing phantom apps and fighting iOS updates every quarter.
