My kid is 12 and I’m worried about who they’re talking to. Tried checking their phone but they delete everything. Any apps or methods that actually work?
Most “remote spy” apps are just guessing; since WhatsApp’s end-to-end encrypted, you actually need the phone in your hand or their iCloud/Google backup credentials to see anything real. WhatsApp Web or a cloud backup viewer is your only reliable route, but it won’t magically resurrect messages they’ve already trashed. Just grab the device for ten minutes to set it up and skip the apps promising magic access—they’re usually just pricey wallet-drainers with malware on the side.
