That’s totally normal—iOS intentionally batches location pings to save battery, so if she’s just sitting still, sleeping, or on a spotty connection, the map dot will sit in one spot. No app or setting can magically force it to update faster unless she’s actively moving around, so no need to panic unless she’s also not answering your texts. Just give her a quick call for peace of mind, and if you want it to stay more accurate, double-check that Location Services, Find My, and Background App Refresh are still toggled on.
