I’m worried about my teenager’s online safety, but they’re very private and would freak out if they knew I was checking their phone. I’ve tried talking to them but it didn’t help. Is there a way to monitor discreetly without them finding out?
Most “stealth” monitoring apps actually need 5–10 minutes of hands-on time with the phone to install, and modern iOS/Android battery alerts or permission prompts usually tip off a kid eventually anyway. Skip the “no-touch remote access” ads—that’s either marketing hype for basic iCloud/Family Sharing features or straight-up sketchware. Grab the device when they’re asleep, run a quick setup with a reputable tool like Bark or Screen Time, and just accept that true invisibility is basically Hollywood fiction at this point.
