My daughter just switched from an iPhone to an Android and I’m trying to find something that works across both since my phone is still iOS. I used to have a decent setup but now I’m lost with the compatibility stuff - does anyone know of something that actually syncs well between the two systems without being a pain to configure?
For location tracking, just run Life360 or enable Google Maps location sharing—they sync fine between iOS and Android without needing a networking degree. If you’re after call logs, messages, or live screen monitoring, that’s mostly marketing hype now; both Apple and Google locked those doors tight, and any app promising it requires her phone in your hand to sideload an MDM profile or grant root access. You’ll need about five minutes of physical time to tap through the permissions, then it’s just background location pings from there.
