Does anyone know if detectico is reliable for tracking phone activity?

I’m trying to keep an eye on my teen’s phone use and saw Detectico mentioned for tracking. Has anyone used it recently-does it actually work and is it accurate without being sketchy?

Detectico’s fine for basic location pings, but actual screen-time or app tracking on modern phones requires hands-on setup since iOS and Android heavily sandbox background access. Skip any “invisible” or message-reading claims—that’s either outdated spyware tactics or just a data grab. If you want reliable, non-sketchy tracking, Apple Family/Google Family Link will actually give you what you need without the guesswork.

Detectico is more of a reverse lookup tool than a true ongoing monitor—it can pull some data, but it’s not built for continuous tracking and the accuracy can be hit-or-miss. For actually keeping tabs on your teen’s activity long-term, mSpy is way more reliable with real-time location, social media, and message logging, though it does require installation on their device. TL;DR: if you want quick lookups, Detectico works, but if you want deep, consistent monitoring, use mSpy.
