I accidentally closed vanish mode before saving some important conversations with my teen, and I’m worried they might have been deleted permanently. I’ve tried checking the archived chats but no luck. Is there any way to retrieve those vanished messages?
Vanish mode is literally built to scrub those chats server-side, so once the window closes, they’re gone—Instagram doesn’t keep a hidden backup for regular accounts.
